This Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone book quiz stays within the first novel. Fifteen questions cover school, friends, magical objects and the route to the Stone. The US title is Sorcerer's Stone; the UK title Philosopher's Stone names the same first book. Read the whole novel before playing if you want to avoid plot details.
The questions use book events, with chapter pointers in the answer notes. A correct answer earns one point. You can work at your own pace and revisit any radio choice before scoring. If your group has watched the film but not read the book, keep the book close by and use the round as a comparison exercise.
The fifteen questions can reveal events through the end of the first book. Leave later-series knowledge aside. Score any answered set for one point per correct choice, or use the paper questions with the separate host key. Blanks stay outside the answered total.
How the harry potter and the sorcerer's stone book quiz score works
Fifteen stable IDs cover only the first novel. Each has four options and one supported answer. For example, checking six selected questions produces a score out of six answered, with nine left blank. Later-book knowledge earns no extra credit and is not needed for this round.
The source notes identify the first-book chapter behind each answer. Keep them closed if your group wants to answer first. You can replace one checked choice and score again; Reset answers clears the whole first-book attempt. The page does not save a reading history.
Print and play away from the screen
Print the first-book question file for players and its answer file for the host. Both paper sizes use the same fifteen IDs. Keep the key face down until the group is ready for chapter references, since an explanation can reveal more than the answer word alone.
FAQ
Can I stop before the last question?
You may stop at any point. If only the early-school questions suit tonight, answer those and leave the rest clear. The result shows a partial score and the blank count. Remember that opening any later answer note can still reveal the end of the first novel.
What if my edition has different pages?
Sorcerer's Stone and Philosopher's Stone editions can have different page layouts. Follow the chapter title in the note, then compare the event in your own text. Send a disputed question ID and edition to hello@bibliofiend.com; do not rely on a film scene to settle book wording.
First-book quiz version 1.The original questions use chapter references and the official reference links in the notes. This is an independent reader activity, with no endorsement from J.K. Rowling or the franchise rights holders.
